At Aliedad, we have a commitment to quality. We endeavor to provide quality construction solutions at cost effective prices. To us, quality is our name and it is a name we are proud of. In order to ensure that we maintain a high standard of quality, we have a staff of highly qualified QA/QC professionals. Those professionals work closely with the QA/QC personnel of our clients in order to ensure that we meet or exceed the needs of our customers. In order to ensure that we exceed those standards, we have incorporated our quality program into a comprehensive Quality Plan. Our Quality Plan addresses all aspects of our program and is included with our tenders as a means of communicating our commitment to quality.

Safety

The safety of our workers and of all people who come onto our job site is very important to us. In order to ensure that safety of everyone on the project, we have implemented safe practices that we have learned through our experience working on projects for the US government. In particular, we make every effort to abide by OSHA Standard that is often required. Practices such as using personal protective equipment like goggles and helmets have helped reduce injury. In addition to safe practices, we have a highly trained safety staff that work closely with our customer counterparts.

Finally, in order to ensure that we exceed the standards of safety required to execute our projects successfully, we have incorporated our Safety program into a comprehensive plan that is outlined in our Safety Plan. Our Safety Plan addresses all aspects of our program and is included with our tenders as a means of communicating our commitment to safety.

The procurement activity in our success story in the Iraqi environment is the ability to procure items quickly and to transport them from one place to another safely and efficiently. Aliedad’s approach to ensuring that all of the needed materials are on hand for a particular project is to ensure that we have working relationships with a variety of suppliers. We have long established relationships with suppliers across all industry types in order to meet our project needs. With quality in mind, we make sure that our procurement staff works closely with our quality group in order to ensure that all procurements meet or exceed the quality standards set forth in every scope of work.

Piping Networks and water treatment plants

Aliedad is an accomplished company in the design and installation of piping networks for water, waste water and fuel. All kinds of pipes (steel, ductile iron, PVC, GRP etc.) are dealt with. Aliedad designs and builds pumping stations for water, sewage and fuel. This includes piping networks, pump installation and tank design, fabrication and commissioning. Aliedad cooperated with some of the best and largest water treatment plants designers and suppliers to fit for towns and villages in Iraq.

Fuel Points/Stations

Aliedad provides a turn-key solution to projects of fuel points and stations. Starting from design, supply, erect and commissioning for fuel points / fuel transfer points, with all necessary safety and explosion proof equipment required for such projects. Including the concrete slabs specialized for such projects.

Oil Refineries

Aliedad Supply and erect oil refineries with different capacities and designs, mobile and/or fixed types starting from 10,000 b/day. Many small size refineries have been installed recently in Iraq to reach the demand; Aliedad handles dismantling, refurbishing and reinstalling brand-new and used refineries.

Power Generation and Electrical Distribution

Aliedad Supply and install power generating equipment for various applications. Power station work includes fuel supply and storage systems, piping, water treatment, electrical works, and civil works to bring project to realization. Design, supply and installation of high, Medium and Low Voltage distribution networks. Which includes underground cabling, overhead lines, distribution boards, protection systems, distribution transformers and control systems. Electrical designs for building’s lighting, fire-alarm systems, communications and utility power.

Aliedad General Construction is superior in the public works of roads and bridges in Iraq, as it is well recognized by providing the modern designs for the construction of bridges and tunnels that would suit all types of intersections and traffic. 

Types of bridges Aliedad design as metallic and concrete:

-          Box girder bridges.

-          I beam bridges.

-          Concrete and metallic combination for curved bridges.

-          Stay cable bridges.

Types of tunnels and underpasses Aliedad design:

-          Flat roofed tunnel.

Tunnels and underpasses are important especially in intersections where no bridg solution can be achieved, and it is commonly used as rail and road traffic solution.

Aliedad General Construction latest achievement in the roads bridges and tunnels (Al-Nahrawan bridge over the Diyala River - Baghdad, with length of 137 meters and width 11 meters. Only four spaces spans around 34 meters). With access road.

Steel Structures

Aliedad is an accomplished company in the design and installation of steel structures such as hangers, portal frames and space frame structures. Unnumbered projects of steel structured have been carried by Aliedad all over Iraq, hot-rolled or pre-engineered steel structures are our specialty.

All types of cladding are employed such as corrugated sheets (single or double with rock wool fillings). Sandwich panels cladding with different thicknesses are also employed having injected polyurethane foam fillings. High rise steel structures are also designed and erected according to national and international standards. The design takes into consideration wind, seismic loads and the other relevant parameters. Decking systems are made up of secondary beams and decking with concrete hollow core slabs.

Steel Tanks

Aliedad is one of the specialized companies in the region as steel tanks manufacturers. We design according to (API 650), install and fabricate all types of steel welded or bolted tanks that serve the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, water and wastewater applications.

Aliedad design and fabricate custom storage tanks with wide range for crude oil, diesel, or kerosene, raw water, chlorinated water and wastewater with capacities ranging from 1000 m3 up to 25.000 m3.

Aliedad also deliver sandblasted coated and tested tanks according to international standards for different sizes.

Our staff of engineers in the design department, designs all types of steel tanks, fully planned, and detailed complete with shop drawings and deliver these shop drawings for fabrications. Right after obtaining client approval prior to fabrication.

Tanks are different in design, depending on type of stored fluid and the environment of tank site, we provide all sorts of roof types, such as:

- Supported cone roof: which is formed to approximately the surface of a right cone which is supported by either rafters on girders and columns or rafters on trusses with or without columns.

- Self-supporting cone roof: which is a roof formed to approximately the surface of a right cone supported only at the periphery. i.e. on the tank shell.

- Self-supporting dome roof: which is a roof formed to approximately a spherical surface supported only at the periphery.

- Self-supporting umbrella roof: which is a modified dome roof, so formed that any horizontal section is regular polygon with as many sides as there are roof plates and supported on the periphery.

Tanks are made out of steel plates. At Aliedad we select the materials carefully in accordance to standards such as: ASTM, ISO, DIN. Our welders working are tested; certified. Classified welders are nominated on each type of welding.

Ensuring job excellence is not an option; quality control staff guarantees the best design and fabrication for the tanks for post tank installation on sites, we carry out all the tests required by the API code to test the structure before starting the sand blasting and coating works. Some of these tests are:
